Sun Electric Prep New Compilation

As mentioned on their Myspace page, Max Loderbauer and Tom Thiel’s ambient project, Sun Electric will be releasing its first full album since 1998’s Via Nostra. The record will be made up of older material that was never previously released, songs that Thiel recently rediscovered on a CDR that he had left at a friend house seven years ago. When Thiel found the disc and listened to it, he was happily surprised to hear that the songs were not dated at all. Everything sounded very fresh.
The duo reunited and is now back on the road. And the “new” album, entitled Lost & Found 1998-2000, is scheduled to be released by Shitkatapult Records on 10/27/07.
