Jim Ward to Record Solo Album

Former At the Drive-In and current Sparta member has announced plans to release a solo album on his own label, Civil Defense League. Unlike his other projects, this album will be quiet and acoustic, a bare-bones, simple sound.
The album will include other notable artists lending their skills to the project; Ray Wallace of Secret Life of Sparrows plays harmonica and sings back-up on a track, Sleepercar guitarist Chris Heinrich rocks the Ukulele on a song, and Maura Davis of Denali and Ambulette does some additional singing.
